    The Roosevelt County Chamber of Commerce, located in downtown Portales, New Mexico is actively involved in partnership with its members, promoting the growth and well-being of the community. Among those partnerships are Eastern New Mexico University and Cannon Air Force Base’s 27th Special Operations Wing. Among the attractions in the area are Blackwater Draw Museum, Blackwater Site National Historic Landmark,
    the Dalley Windmill Museum and Oasis State Park.

  • Business of the Month Business of the Month

    Congratulations to Village Pharmacy on being named Business of the Month for November. The Chamber Ambassadors and staff presented the award to Victor and Linda Baca and their staff. Village Pharmacy was an active participant again this year in the health fair at Peanut Valley Festival, where they helped give flu shots. They also support the community in numerous other ways.

  • Volunteers of the Month Volunteers of the Month

    Garth and Julie Stockard and their staff at Hydration Station were selected as Volunteers of the Month for November based on the relief effort they organized for victims of Hurricane Michael. Hydration Station collected items from water to toiletries while Julie coordinated with Florida churches from the couple’s home in Destin. Garth then transported the supplies to the area. Garth is shown here unloading those supplies in Florida.
