Spellman to lead online marketing workshop
The Small Business Development Center in Clovis along with Portales MainStreet and the Roosevelt County Chamber of Commerce have joined together to bring a nationally acclaimed expert in online marketing to Portales for a free April 5 workshop entitled “How To Turn Facebook Likes Into Customers.”
Eric Spellman, president and founder of Spellman & Associates of Amarillo will lead the workshop from 2-5 p.m. April 5 at the Yam Theatre, 219 S. Main.
Spellman is a speaker at national technology conferences across the country. His unique style appeals to all levels of audiences from those savvy in online marketing to business owners brand new to the idea. He is often hired to convey technically challenging topics to non-technical audiences and labelled a “Technology Evangelist.”
“Spellman will bring unique insight on how to bring customers to your business and answer questions on how to use the Internet to your advantage,” said MainStreet Executive Director Sandy Vigil. “We hope our local businesses will take advantage of this opportunity to learn new ways to grow their business.”
While there is no fee, attendees must register in advance by 3 p.m. April 4 as space is limited. Register online at nmsbdc.ecenterdirect.com/events or call Sandy at (575) 226-3783 or Diana at (575) 769-4136.
“We’re glad that SBDC used their contacts to bring Eric to Portales,” said Chamber Executive Director Karl Terry. “A lot of our business community has achieved an online presence but most of us struggle to make it work as well as we would like. From the online clips I’ve seen, Eric makes online ideas and concepts easy to understand.”
