Portales MVD office is relocating
The New Mexico Motor Vehicle Division office in Portales is moving from its current location at 1410 S. Avenue O to 1601 S. Avenue D.
Jan. 28, 2020 was the last day of operations at the current office. The new Avenue D office will open for business on Thursday, February 6 at 8 a.m. The MVD mobile unit will be available at the new location from Monday February 3 through Wednesday February 5. The location is the back (closest to Creighton’s) part of the Family Dollar Store . The MVD has been remodeling their part of the building and putting in an entrance on it also facing the parking lot off Avenue D.
In the interim, customers can conduct many transactions on line at http://www.mvd.newmexico.gov/ or at the Clovis field office, 814 W 6th Street, Clovis.
