Portales Municipal early/absentee voting opens

Absentee and Early Voting

Absentee Voting for the March 3, 2020 Regular Municipal Election began on February 4, 2020 and will end February 28, 2020. Voters wishing to vote Absentee-by-mail may request an application to vote by calling 356-6662, option 1 #1 for the City Clerk or option 1 #2 for the Deputy City Clerk. The application will be mailed to your address followed by the absentee ballot upon the return of your application. Ballots may not be carried out of the City Clerk’s Office.

Early Voting begins on February 4, 2020 and ends February 29, 2020. Voters wishing to vote prior to Election Day may come to the City Clerk’s Office during regular business hours (8 –5), Monday through Friday February 4th through February 28th and Saturday February 29, 2020 from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and cast their vote by voting machine tabulator.

The City Clerk’s Office is located in City Hall, 100 W. First Street.
