This Saturday, at 1727 Sheldon Street in Clovis, we will continue to remove remaining fence posts and begin clearing out the garage/apartment. Work will begin at 8:00 am, and once again, we don't expect to be working past noon. We would like a crew of approximately 10-12 people to help, so please reply via email or call (575) 359-1344 if you are able to help.
Also on Saturday, we will have an information table at the Saturday in the Park Festival at Hillcrest Park in Clovis. Bring the family and enjoy a day of fun that will benefit several local non-profits.
Adopt a Highway Litter Pickup
A volunteer crew will be picking up litter on our sponsored mile of US Highway 70 between mile markers 434 and 435, from 8:30 am until approximately 11:00 am. This is in conjunction with the Portales Great American Clean-up, and all aluminum cans collected on this day will be donated to Habitat for recycling.
There is a perfect place to meet and park, right in the middle of our mile, at the County Line between Roosevelt & Curry Counties. Please email your reply or call (575) 359-1344 if you are interested in helping with this project. We have several yellow safety vests, so you will only need to bring some work/garden gloves, sturdy shoes and sunscreen.

April 20, 2013 - We will be at the Eastern New Mexico Home Builders' Home & Garden Show at the Clovis Civic Center. We will be selling raffle tickets for a Log Cabin Pattern quilt, pieced together and donated to Habitat by Elizabeth Lawrence, Gail Strickler and Melveta Walker.
