The Food Bank of Eastern New Mexico’s Board has hired Dianna Hernandez as Executive Director for the Food Bank of Eastern New Mexico. Hernandez was hired as Executive Director on October 10, 2014.
The decision to hire Hernandez was made at a recent board meeting.
“We feel that Dianna is a perfect fit for the board of directors, employees and subscribers to the Food Bank of Eastern New Mexico,” said Food Bank Interim Board President Allan Isbell. “She is a people person, very knowledgeable about the Food Bank and its mission. We are very pleased to have her back on board.” Hernandez held a previous position as a grant writer/marketing specialist for FBENM.
“I am excited to continue carrying forward the work that all of the Food Bank’s current and past leaders and staff have implemented. We are now in our 31st year because of their dedication and hard work,” said Hernandez. “I extend an open invitation to the people in our communities to come by and see the work that’s being done to fulfill the needs of the hungry in Eastern New Mexico.”
In its 31st year, the Food Bank of Eastern New Mexico partners with over 20 agencies and 25 schools in Curry, Roosevelt, De Baca, Quay, Guadalupe and Torrance counties to distribute food to families and individuals in need.
