TriState CareFlight is hosting an open house at RGH on Thursday, March 14 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. We would like to invite you to come out and meet the RGH CareFlight staff and tour Portales’ new emergency air ambulance. JFour BBQ will be catering the event and lunch will be provided free (as long as there is BBQ) thanks to TriState! With the helicopter onsite, transport times for patients with critical, or life-threatening, medical conditions is expected to decrease by at least 30 minutes. The Augsta Koloa A119, the fastest single jet engine helicopter in its class, provides hospital-to-hospital transport as well as scene response within a 125-mile radius of Portales.
