    Event Description:
    The City of Portales along with the Roosevelt County Chamber of Commerce will hold the
    Portales Public Safety Day
    on Saturday, Sept. 25 from 2-7 p.m. at City Park. The event will feature food trucks, Meet McGruff the Crime Dog, learn fire safety at the Portales Fire Department Smokehouse, get a child identification kit. Learn electricity safety with an arcing demonstration from Roosevelt County Electric Coop. Try the DWI Pedal Cars. Lots of fun, music and giveaways available. Following the fair at 7 p.m. the Chamber Ambassadors will present the movie "Raya and the Last Dragon" free in the park. For more information or to register your organization to participate, contact the Chamber or Portales Police Department or click the register button and register as a guest.
