    Heritage Days Celebration
    June 15 9 am - 5 pm
    City Park, Portales


     

    A time for our community to come together and celebrate the history of Portales.
    At Heritage days Bluegrass music plays all day, honoring of the Pioneer of the Year, car shows, kids games, craft booth, delicious food vendors and more!

    Fair Queen Schedule

     

    Friday June 14th
    9:30am – Personal Interview (Jake Lopez) - not open to public
    11am – lunch break and change for horsemanship  
    -Lunch provided for judges, contestants and parents
    12pm- warm up horses
    12:30- Horsemanship starts/followed by horsemanship interviews (Fairgrounds Indoor Arena)  
    5pm – Modeling/Speeches/impromptu questions (City Park main stage)

     

    Motorcycle Dice Run
    Saturday, June 15
    $10 ~~ 1 up
    $15 ~~ 2 up
    Low Roll - $100
    High Roll - $50

    First bike out at 9:30 - Last bike out at 10 a.m.
    Registration starts at 9 a.m. at City Park in front of Portales Public Pool
    Bike games at Noon
    Drawing and Prizes after games
