This family oriented workshop focuses on community learning by pairing children
with their parents in a fun, hands-on environment to learn about visual art. Children
and parents will share with each other their fondest summer memories–this
element of storytelling will be coupled with beginner level exercises in visual
art and will result with a body of artwork both child and parent have created
together. From the 8-day workshop, a larger group project will be created and
featured in the Runnels Gallery, summer 2013. Registration fees will cover the
cost of all art supplies.
