RCCDC hires new executive director
PORTALES, NM—The Roosevelt County Community Development Corporation (RCCDC) is pleased to announce that it has hired William Hendrickson of Las Vegas New Mexico as the Executive Director for the Roosevelt County Community Development Corporation (RCCDC). Board President Randy Knudson stated: "We are thrilled and excited to have been able to very quickly hire a very capable new Executive Director, to replace our former Director Orlando Ortega."
Knudson added: "Bill will be starting the job on Monday April 30th, and with a number of economic prospects in the "pipeline" we anticipate he will hit the job running. Bill was the former Executive Director of the Las Vegas, San Miguel Economic Development Corporation, and will be moving to Portales with his wife, Kathy. Both Bill and Kathy are active in community activities and are expected to be a great addition to Portales and Roosevelt County. The mission of the RCCDC is to expand and encourage the development of new economic opportunities, assist and grow existing business and industry, and enhance the quality of life for citizens of Portales and Roosevelt County.
