The Patriot Tour to stop in Portales May 28

On Friday, May 28, 2021 the Nation of Patriot Flag will arrive at noon to the Roosevelt County War Memorial on the square in Portales. The flag will be transferred to the next rider with a short ceremony. They will then go to our VFW Post 9515. On May 29 at 9 a.m. the rider and Flag will depart from the VFW Post 9515 to Lubbock, Texas, where the next rider will take the flag.

The Patriot Tour^TM consists of one American Flag being carried through 48 continental states, escorted by tens of thousands for 110 days straight all in honor of America’s Armed Forces members. The Patriot Tour^TM is a vehicle through which we strive to unite Americans beneath the colors of our nation’s Flag and behind the men and women who bravely stand up to defend them. As one collective force, we work through the Patriot Tour™ to raise financial support and awareness for the families of wounded veterans.
 
Nation of Patriots^TM is a 501(C)3 nonprofit organization. We work on a national level to promote the awareness of and financially support the physical, emotional, and economic misfortune that our disabled veterans and their families are living with today and every day.
We work to unite Americans beneath the banner or Flag and behind the men and women serving in the Armed Forces. We raise money through our national network and distribute it directly to the families we strive to support. The families are selected for us mostly through the VA Hospital network.
We are a 100% volunteer nonprofit. We give 100% of all donations received directly to the veterans we strive to help. We work with VA facilities and many other veteran organizations to help us locate and select the veteran families based on specific criteria.

Nation of Patriots^TM was formed in 2008 and achieved our exempt status in early 2009. We launched the very first Patriot Tour^TM in 2009. Our humble start has led to a huge following across the country and we continue to work on this upward growth. Our focus has been and always will be this: to provide financial support to those who have served in our Armed Forces and their families. These individuals have volunteered their lives in the preservation, protection and future of The United States and all of its citizens. For this we are grateful.
