Plans are under way and the launch of the 2nd annual Radio-thon to benefit the Food Bank of Eastern New Mexico is just a short time away. Once again, 105.9 KSEL Country in Portales is pleased and excited to partner with the Food Bank of Eastern New Mexico to fill the shelves and help those within our communites.
The Radio-thon will kick-off Thursday, November 30th at 6:30 am on The Morning Throwdown with Kevin and Doc and continue throughout the day and overnight into Friday, December 1st at 9 am. We will be live and local through the entirety of the Radio-thon. Staff from both the radio station and food bank along with volunteers will be on-site to collect your donations at the105.9 KSEL Country studio located at 42437 US 70 in Portales.
During the duration of the Radio-thon, we will be bringing you information and history on the food bank, collecting donations and speaking with the many volunteers, organizations, staff and friends of the food bank. In addition, we will be giving away items that have been so graciously donated by local businesses and community members.
