    Job Description
    Visitor Information Center/Events Coordinator
     This position will perform a variety of assigned office and clerical duties and be expected to greet guests and visitors enthusiastically.

    * Team player that is able to manage multiple assignments at one time
    * Energetic and creative with outgoing personality and good interpersonal skills
    * Basic office skills including MS Office and MS Publisher
    * Quickbooks and bookkeeping skills desirable but not required
    *  High School diploma required, college preferred
    *  Ability to train and lead student staff and volunteers
    * Background in event planning desired but can train right person
    * Knowledge of local area a plus
    Job Description:
    This position is a full time position in the Roosevelt County Chamber of Commerce office staffing, directing and maintaining the Visitor Center and working with the Executive Director on event promotions and organization and execution of events. Individual will be in charge of desk receptionist and help direct student staff in answering phones, creating packets, maintaining stock of visitor center handouts and preparing mailings. This position will also register members, vendors and participants for a variety of events coordinated by the Chamber and its committees.
