    The Roosevelt County Chamber of Commerce, located in downtown Portales, New Mexico is actively involved in partnership with its members, promoting the growth and well-being of the community. Among those partnerships are Eastern New Mexico University and Cannon Air Force Base’s 27th Special Operations Wing. Among the attractions in the area are Blackwater Draw Museum, Blackwater Site National Historic Landmark,
    the Dalley Windmill Museum and Oasis State Park.

    Every Day is Beautiful in Green Valley

    With a wide variety of events and opportunities, Green Valley has something to offer everyone. Celebrate the fun of the Minnesota State Fair with us each summer.     The Chamber staff held a ribbon cutting for new member High Supply Cannabis LLC. Currently at 106 N. Main Ave. They are excited to be a part of the Portales community and the staff looks forward to working with folks.  Manager Christopher Debow says the High Supply retail shop is proud to serve our community of Portales, NM.

  • Business of the Month Business of the Month

    Legacy Church was named Business of the Month for March by the Chamber for setting up a warming station for the homeless and those in need during some very cold nights. Accepting the award from Executive Director Karl Terry was Kim and Tate Smith along with members and pastors of the church.The church, located at 820 W. 18th St. has opened their doors during inclimate weather at least three times. They offer a safe place to sleep, warm food and drinks, along with goodie bags for those looking for refuge from the elements. There are about nine members who help make this act of kindness an act of service for our community.

  • Volunteer of the Month Volunteer of the Month

    Megan Hamilton was named Volunteer of the Month for March by the Chamber for her continued support and commitment to not only serving on various boards and committees that help our area, but for her unwavering dedication to our community. Accepting the award from Executive Director Karl Terry was Megan Hamilton. Megan owns and operates Ace Hardware located at 1300 S. Ave D as well as Enchantment Vineyards located at 2102 E. 3rd St. Both establishments are family owned and operated.
