Dairy Farmers of America Corporate Vice President to Speak
Portales, NM — John J. Wilson, Corporate Vice President of Marketing/Economic Analysis at Dairy Farmers of America, will speak at a seminar at the New Mexico Ag Expo in Portales, NM on Feb. 22, 2006.
Wilson will present a seminar, sponsored by Dairy Farmers of America and Southwest Cheese, on “What’s Ahead in Milk Prices for 2006.” The seminar will take place at 12:45 p.m. on February 22, in the Cacahuate Room of the Jake Lopez Community Center on the Roosevelt County Fairgrounds.
Wilson, who has been with Mid-America Dairymen, Inc. since 1983, and has held various positions within the company, earned his B.S. in Agribusiness in 1981 at Southwest Missouri State University.
After Mid-America Dairymen, Inc. merged into what is today known as Dairy Farmers of America, Wilson assumed his current position. Wilson is responsible for customer relations in national fluid milk accounts, national economic policy, milk marketing and commodity price risk management.
The 2006 New Me xico Ag Expo, sponsored by Plateau Wireless and Hamilton Automotive Group, will be held on February 21 and 22. Gates will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free.
