Tab Release Ag Expo Offers New Products and Seminars for the Entire Family Portales, N.M. -- The New Mexico Ag Expo, Feb. 26 &
27, sponsored by New Mexico Bank and Trust and Plateau Wireless, offers
seminars, events and booths for the entire family. Michelle Bargas, chairman of the Women's Building Committee, said this years vendors will be selling and displaying clothing, make-up, antiques, home decor, cookware, candles, wood crafts, paintings and more. It is geared more for any type of family event, both gift giving and decorating your home, Bargas said. The building is just a beautiful and pleasant experience for anyone who attends the Ag Expo. A schedule of Womens Building events and demonstrations will be available at the Expo, according to Bargas. One such demonstration will be given by Connie Moyers, Extension Home Economist on Cooking Ahead for One, Two, or a Crew at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 27 in the Yucca Room of the Armory. Moyers program will include recipes and demonstrations of dishes that can be cooked ahead and are healthy for heart patients and diabetics. Tickets for the Annual Farm/City/Eastern New Mexico University/Cannon Air Force Base Banquet, sponsored by Wells Fargo and ENMU, are on sale at the Roosevelt County Chamber of Commerce. The banquet will be held on Tuesday Feb. 27 at 7 p.m. and tickets will cost $15 in advance and may be purchased at the door for $20. To register antique tractors for the Expo, contact Chester
