How to get to the Roosevelt County Fair Grounds
The fair grounds are on the north side of Portales. Exit off US Hwy 70 to Lime St. (by Town & Country and Texaco Station and large Portales National Bank billboard stating "Welcome to Portales"), then right to parking at south gate. Click Here for a Map of the Show Grounds.

Air Service
Commercial air service within commuting distance to Clovis at 19 miles, Lubbock Texas at 90 miles, and Amarillo, Texas at 110 miles. Carriers include Mesa, American, Southwest, American Eagle, ASA and United.

Portales Airport has one runway with a paved length of 5,500 feet, lights and
instruments. The second runway is paved with an approximately 4,800 foot length. There are charter and private facilities at the airport. All grades of fuel are available.
